Description:
Gentle on stomachs and is absorbed faster than regular Panadol tablets. Panadol Optizorb Caplets with Paracetamol have a patented delivery system formulated to provide fast & effective relief of pain and fever.
Panadol Optizorb caplets are for fast effective temporary relief of pain and discomfort associated with:
- Headache/ Tension headache.
- Migraine headache.
- Muscular aches.
- Backache.
- Arthritis/Osteoarthritis.
- Period pain.
- Toothache.
- Cold & flu symptoms.
- Reduces fever.
Ingredients:
Each caplet contains Paracetamol 500mg.
Hydroxybenzoates as preservatives.
Usage Directions:
Age: 12 - Adult Tablets: 1-2 How Often: every 4-6 hrs with water as required (maximum 8 caplets in 24 hrs).
Age: 7 - 12 Tablets: 1/2-1 How Often: every 4-6 hrs with water as required (maximum 4 caplets in 24 hrs).
Storage:
Store below 30°C.

Do not use if you are allergic to paracetamol or hydroxybenzoates, if you are using other medicines containing paracetamol, for children under the age of 7 except on medical advice. Adults do not take this medicine for more than a few days at a time unless advised by a doctor. Adolescents and children (7 to 17) do not take this medicine for more than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a doctor.
Do not use if expiry date has passed, if any of the seals on the packaging are broken, until you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.
Ask a doctor before use: if you have any kidney or liver problems, if you are on warfarin (blood thinning medication). Stop and see a doctor immediately if you have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medication.
Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected. stop use and ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26. New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Contains hydroxybenzoates as a preservative.
