Panadol Rapid Caplets provide fast, effective relief of pain and discomfort associated with headache/tension headache, migraine headache, toothache, muscular aches, cold & flu symptoms, and period pain. Panadol Rapid Caplets also reduce fever.

Like other Panadol tablets and caplets, Panadol Rapid Caplets is gentle on the stomach. Caplets are oval shaped, as well as film-coated, making them easy to swallow and leaving no bitter aftertaste.

Panadol Rapid contains sodium bicarbonate, enabling it to be absorbed twice as fast as regular Panadol Tablets.

Panadol Rapid provides fast relief from pain and discomfort associated with:

- Headache/Tension headache

- Migraine headaches

- Toothache/Dental pain

- Muscular aches

- Cold & flu symptoms

- Period pain

- Panadol Rapid also reduces fever

Suitable for people with stomach ulcers.

Ingredients:

Paracetamol, Sodium bicarbonate, Cellulose – microcrystalline, Starch – pregelatinised maize, Sodium Starch Glycolate, Starch – maize, Water – purified, Magnesium stearate, Hypromellose, Colloidal Anhydrous Silica, Povidone, Titanium dioxide, Polydextrose, Glycerol triacetate, Carnauba wax, Macrogol 8000

Does not contain gluten, lactose or sugar.

Usage Directions:

Direction for use Age: 12 - Adult Caplets: 2 How often: Every 4-6 hours with water as required (maximum 8 caplets in 24 hours)

Store below 30°C.

Warnings:

Use as directed, always read the label. Keep out of reach of children. If symptoms persist, please contact your healthcare professional.

Do not use Panadol if you are allergic to paracetamol, if you are using other medicines containing paracetamol, for children under the age of 12 except on medical advice. Adults do not take this medicine for more than a few days at a time unless advised by a doctor. Adolescents and children (12-17) do not take this medicine for more than 48 hours at a time unless advised by a doctor.

Do not use if expiry date has passed, if any of the seals on the packaging are broken, until you have read the enclosed leaflet carefully.

Ask a doctor before use: if you have any kidney or liver problems, if you are on warfarin (blood thinning medication). Stop and see a doctor immediately if you have an allergic skin reaction, shortness of breath or wheezing after taking this medication.

Keep to the recommended dose. If an overdose is taken or suspected. stop use and ring the Poisons Information Centre (Australia 13 11 26. New Zealand 0800 764 766) or go to a hospital straight away even if you feel well because of the risk of delayed, serious liver damage. Two caplets contain 352mg (15.3mmol) of sodium. This should be taken into account by those on a low sodium diet.
