Ingredients:
Nicotine 2mg (as polacrilex).
Sucralose and 8.3g Mannitol per recommended daily dose. Products containing mannitol may have a laxative effect or cause diarrhoea
Usage Directions:
Use in Adolescents under professional supervision only.
Adults 18 years and over who smoke 20 or fewer cigarettes per day or who smoke their first cigarette of the day more than 30 minutes after waking up
1. Place the lozenge in your mouth.
2. Occasionally move the lozenge from one side of your mouth to the other. Do not chew or swallow.
3. Repeat step 2 until the lozenge dissolves completely (about 16-19 minutes).
Ready to quit smoking? Have a lozenge whenever you feel the urge to smoke. Over time, you’ll need fewer lozenges to control your nicotine cravings and withdrawal symptoms.
Stopping Immediately
Week 1-12 |
1 lozenge when you have the urge to smoke or every 1-2 hours. Do not use more than 15 lozenges per day. |
After 12 weeks |
Gradually reduce to 1-2 lozenges per day and then stop use. |
Cutting Down
Gradually increase lozenge use (maximum of 15 lozenges per day) and reduce smoking with the aim of stopping by 6 months. If you have not cut down at 6 weeks or stopped at 9 months, see your doctor or pharmacist. |
