Carwari Organic Black Tahini is a condiment made from ground black unhulled sesame seeds. Carwari black tahini is made with a traditional stone mill which gives it a mild and slightly sweet flavour with a distinct aroma. The black sesame seeds used to make it are unhulled and the colour is a rich black.

This product is Carwari’s bestselling product and won the 2012 Sustain Sydney Organic Expo People’s Choice Award.

The difference between black and white sesame seeds is that black sesame seeds have a slightly stronger taste and they also have slightly different nutritional properties.
